The photo show was a lot of fun. We put up all of the photos on the displays that my father-in-law made for my sister-in-law’s senior art show. They worked perfectly. We had a good turn out of friends and family.
Dad broke out his R2-D2 cooler for the event. A man that works with him came and played in the backyard. He was wonderful.

We are excited to do this project again next year. I think next time we will work on capturing concepts with photography instead of doing any more elements of design. We’ll be covering those more thoroughly in our year-long art curriculum, so there’s not going to be any need to repeat them. Plus, I think she will embrace the whole experience more if she’s able to really express herself creatively without the constraints of “assignments”.
